Dr. Guy T. McDougal, O.D.
Dr. Guy McDougal provides comprehensive eye care, including diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular conditions, fitting of contact lenses, prescribing glasses, and pre- and post-surgical care.
Dr. McDougal received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.
Dr. McDougal practiced in Blythe, California, before moving to Arizona where he began private practice in Camp Verde and Payson. In 1991, Dr. McDougal relocated to the valley and began a private practice located in the Superstition Springs Mall at Power and Southern in Mesa.
He is a member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He is currently licensed in Arizona.
Born in Murray, Utah, and raised in West Jordan, Utah, Dr. McDougal and his family reside in Mesa, Arizona.
Dr. Lars J. Carlson, O.D.
Dr. Lars Carlson is an optometrist who provides comprehensive vision care including the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, routine eye examinations, fitting of contact lenses and prescribing glasses.
Dr. Carlson completed his undergraduate education at Ferris State University and went on to get his degree in Optometry at the Michigan College of Optometry.
Dr. Carlson moved to Arizona in 2005 from Illinois to escape the cold and practice optometry. He enjoys hiking, flag football and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Kevin Pugh, O.D.
Dr. Pugh was born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Dr. Pugh received his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
He received clinical training and experience with the Indian Health Services and the Air Force, as well as many practices around the valley. Dr. Pugh is fluent in Spanish too!
He is experienced in primary eye care for all ages. Special areas of interest include the management and treatment of ocular trauma, red eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and pre- and post-operative care. He enjoys fitting contact lenses and recommending eyewear for all different hobbies and lifestyle needs. Dr. Pugh is a provider for the InfantSEE program.
When Dr. Pugh is not working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two wonderful children. Road cycling and fly fishing are his favorite hobbies.
Dr. Libbi A. Tracy, O.D.
Dr. Tracy graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis of Optometry in 1988. During her 26-year optometric career, she has worked in private practice and has also served as head of the Optometry Department at FHP Health Center in Mesa, Arizona. For a 10-year period, she practiced in Salt Lake City, Utah, with an ophthalmology practice and was an adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Utah-School of Medicine, Moran Eye Center. Now back in Arizona since 2002, Dr. Tracy loves caring for all her patients. She is now accepting new patients and looks forward to seeing you!
Dr. Tracy provides comprehensive eye care, including diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular conditions, fitting of all types of contact lenses, including bifocal, gas-permeable and keratoconus, prescribing eyeglasses and pre- and post-surgical care.
On a personal note, Dr. Tracy has 6 children; 4 are grown with a total of 7 grandchildren. She and her husband, Reid, still have 2 boys at home, both are current Mountain View High School students. Dr. Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, scuba diving and she loves reptiles! Music is a big part of her life; she plays the piano, organ and loves to sing.
Dr. Alma D. Yamamoto, O.D.
Dr. Yamamoto is originally from Hawaii, but has lived in the East Valley most of his life. He is a Mesa High School Jackrabbit and an Arizona State University Sun Devil.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Biology, he received his doctorate degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
Dr. Yamamoto is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association.
Dr. Yamamoto provides comprehensive eye exams for all ages, including annual eye exams for prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as eye exams tailored to consultation and management of chronic eye conditions; including dry eye, macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts and keratoconus.
Outside of caring for his patients, Dr. Yamamoto enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He is an avid football fan.
I am always greeted with such friendliness at this office. Dr. Carlson is an excellent doctor and takes time to get to know his patients. He always takes the time to address my concerns without ever making me feel rushed. I’ve never had a bad experience and don’t have any complaints!
